African Deluxe Company event producers of the first ever Polo in the Park in Africa – has announced the opening of ticket sales for their upcoming Standard Bank Joburg ‘Polo in the Park’ 2022 at Gauteng’s premium residential lifestyle estate – Steyn City, on 30 April 2022.
The inaugural Standard Bank Joburg Polo in the Park was hosted in 2019, dazzling guests with fabulous fashion, good music and delectable gourmet meals and beverages. “We are excited that we are able to bring polo fans together again after a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic,” says Sandile Dlamini, founding member of ADC.
Polo in the Park brings a special thrill to a time-honoured sport, thanks to its unique format: because there are only three players aside with an inflatable ball, rather than the hard one used in traditional matches, spectators can get close up to the action and enjoy all the thrills of the matches.
Dlamini adds that the company has worked hard to create an event that speaks to the high expectations of players and spectators alike. “Polo is the sport of kings. Any event celebrating this sport must reflect this – and to make sure that our Polo in the Park upholds its regal image, “we have benchmarked this event against internationally respected polo tournaments,” Dlamini informs. The result is a spectacular occasion marked by glamour and luxury offering dynamic, networking opportunities and of course, the excitement of this fast-paced format. “It all comes together to create an unforgettable experience,” Dlamini enthuses
