Rami Chuene says not even the badasses Delilah, Sapphira, Jezebel, and mother of deception, Eve will get her participating in fasting against GBV.
“Good morning South Africans. SA woman, may I humbly request that we couple this GBV with a 5-day fast from Monday the 21st to Friday 25th of September. No make-up no weave (Esther 4:16). May God hear our cry and heal our country,” reads the request.
“No. No amount of Esther, Ruth, Naomi, Sarah, and Mary, not even the badasses Delilah, Sapphira, Jezebel, and mother of deception, Eve will get me participating in this. Everything has been taken from women. Everything! How then are we okay to take even the nothing that’s left?” says Rami Chuene.

According to various reports, the CPVOD-19 lockdown has created many social and economic problems, and those affected by sexual and gender-based violence are at even more risk than normal in these abnormal circumstances.
According to Reuters, a spate of murders of South African women in recent weeks, including a heavily pregnant Tshegofatso Pule stabbed and hanged from a tree, highlighted the need for tougher police action on violence against women.
