“This is all so weird, having to explain myself about a person I don’t even know!!!!” says DJ Fresh.
On Tuesday a certain lady who is known by the name Nampree accused DJ Fresh and Euphonik of allegedly drugging her and raping her in 2011.
“@DJFreshSA & @euphonik will you ever acknowledge drugging me & further raping me? I was completed drugged I don’t whether you BOTH raped me or 1 of you did & you later laughed about it the next morning saying we (me & 3 girls) were so drunk we kept blacking out but nasidlwengula,” said Nampree in a tweet direct to both the well-known disc jockeys.

947 reported that the pair reached an agreement with Primedia Broadcasting that they would step down from their roles with immediate effect after rape cases were opened against the two.
Both DJ Fresh and Euphonik are employed by music radio station 947, owned by Eyewitness News’ parent company Primedia Broadcasting.
“In light of the serious allegations levelled against us we’ve decided to step away from all public work engagements until such time that this matter has been resolved and the law has taken its course,” said Fresh and Euphonik in a statement released on Saturday via their official social media pages.

On Friday it emerged that the woman who goes by the name of Nampree has opened a case of rape at the Sunnyside police station on Wednesday.
According to Times Live, authorities have confirmed that the “woman” who levelled allegations of rape against the two well-known DJs has opened a rape case and the matter is currently under investigation.
Police spokesperson Captain. Mavela Masondo confirmed the existence of the case on Thursday.

“As per case the number you provided, I can confirm a case of rape was opened at Sunnyside police station and is under investigation. No arrests have been made,” he said.
