Smash Afrika’s estranged wife has revealed that she was allegedly in an abusive marriage with Smash.
Wow! We didn’t see this one coming. All the silence from Smash Afrika only to find out that he’s a perpetrator?
Last year, it was reported that Kefiloe who is the daughter of seasoned actress Rami Chuene accused the radio host of infidelity.
The reports disclosed that Kefiloe stumbled upon a picture of Smash and Msaki kissing. Msaki denied ever being the reason for the failed marriage and disliked being reduced to a home wrecker.
“The point is that like you’re in the space and things that are a gross violation of people’s privacy become people’s business, you know,” she said.
“It’s just a story of a relationship ending. I don’t have anything to do with that relationship ending but I’m dragged in,” Msaki added.
However, rumours of their failing marriage surfaced in 2021, with musician Msaki being at the centre of it all.
From where we are standing it seems as if the marriage was over even way before. But that’s just our opinion, there’s always two-sides to the story, and there’s the TRUTH.
Sunday World broke the news of their divorce and dropped a bombshell that Msaki was allegedly one of the reasons for it. When questioned, Smash Afrika reportedly never denied the alleged affair.
He even apparently told Kefiloe that Msaki is his peace. Sources close to them allegedly also revealed that abuse was the main cause of the divorce.
Taking to her Instagram page, Kefiloe made a mockery of her marriage on the anniversary of their wedding.
“‘Til death do us part?” she laughed.
It was at this point in time that we figured who and what Kefiloe was referring to. She has finally spoken about and says she also suffered abuse in her marriage.
“Till death do us part? Surely, we can joke a little since it’s my anniversary. Okay, let’s be serious! When I was being abused, I was faced with the decision whether to remain in my marriage, possibly at the risk of my life or harm to my child,” she says. “This decision was particularly difficult because I worried, I was disobeying God by ending my marriage.” She went on to quote from a Christian website about marriage.
Both Kefiloe and Smash Afrika are not available for commentary.
