Tshepo Jimmy Machebe (29) popularly known as Tizziesta is the founder of the brand ‘Joint Panelz by Tizziesta’. Hailing from Zone 10 Meadowlands West, Soweto which happens to be the brand owner’s place of residence, to date.
In an interview with the publication, Tizziesta told us that his love for fashion came from wanting to own unique clothing and accessories.
“First of all it’s the love of creativity, unique clothing and accessories. As well as a way to express my creativity in the clothing and fashion industry,” he said.
The clothing brand was established in the year 2017. Which was the same year the designer lost his beloved mother. May her soul continue to rest in eternal peace.
“I was proudly inspired, motivated and supported by my late cousin/brother/friend by the name of Sibusiso Machebe, who was the founder of a clothing company that I used to work for as a creative director. The company is called Young Creatives.”
Joint Panelz by Tizziesta
First of all, that is quite a name for a clothing brand. Which is why we could not help but ask what it is all about.
What makes Tizziesta’s line stand out from the rest is the choice in combination of bold colourful vibrant colours. Including the unique concepts as well as creative arts including the specialising in tie-dyes behind every creation that comes out from Joint Panelz.
Joint Panelz by Tizziesta is a brand that simply represents creativity, authenticity, love, nature, peace, happiness as well as functional unity amongst individuals. Hence the slogan “WE’RE ONE TOGETHER” .
Speaking to Mgosi, Tshepo mentioned that his brand is not yet where he wants it to be. He is therefore hoping to become a global sensation together with his brand. Getting recognition for essentially having a global impact.
The label is a brand “destined to share the story of the travellers from the Southern Coast of Africa, within their travel they have been archiving history through means of artefacts and hand made accessories made from recycled materials yet most important the bag of hope.”
“The bag of hope contains a very significant role in terms of transporting this African history although it was not always easy having to move from one place to another. So from generation to generation this bag of hope is being passed down until it reached a generation where it no longer values the relevance of the bag of hope,” Machebe states.
HOPES AND DREAMS
Joint Panelz thrives to educate, remind and share the heritage of the bag of hope that carries treasures of the past through its unique and creative designs.
As well as giving the blinded generation a sight of hope with a sense of hope, love, peace, joy and laughter.
To provide more selfless services as much as it can to expand and grow Joint Panelz and its market in the continent.
This also goes for the global sector. In a sense, to create memorable and audible music with unique concepts, lyrical genius and alternative sounds. As well as creative arts.
“I also look forward to keep sharing the inspiration and healing with a sense of fun by music indulgences for fellow artists, musicians, music lovers as well as art lovers throughout the world not forgetting the masses,” the designer expressed.
Least favourite thing about being a designer: “The part where I have to convince people that Joint Panelz is dope when I already know that it’s dope but I still have to convince for the sake of making sales
Pressing on, the plan is to move into boutiques that compliments and accommodates the style of the brand’s collections.
Meaning if the style of choice aligns with the boutique. Then the capability to reach and extend the market is inevitable.
