The Queen actress Motsoaledi Setumo, who played the role of Mmabatho on the telenovela has confirmed that she was not fired but left!

Coinciding with Rami Chuene’s day of announcement of her last day on set, Motsoaledi Setumo set waves on social media when she also announced that on Thursday it will be her last day on set.

“Tomorrow (Thursday) is my last day on set. What a journey,” she wrote.
Matsoaledi Setumo’s reply to fans that assumed she was fired by Ferguson Films: “No. I left.”
The actress addressed the mater as a time to broaden her horizons.
“It’s time to broaden my horizons. It might not be 9pm but you’ll definitely see me soon,” she wrote.
Motsoaledi Setumo is a radio producer and actress best known for her recurring role as Thabitha Cele, a raunchy young lady who was notably involved in a bondage scene involving a hot candle wax on the SABC1 soap opera Generations: The Legacy.

Motsoaledi Setumo’s role on Generations, in June 2015, was her first credited screen acting role. She auditioned three times before she landed the role of Thabitha.
She joined The Queen from season 2 to season 4, she also played the role of Tselane Dlamini on Greed & Desire – season 1.
Ferguson Films is a battleground for the dramatic exits of actors.
Rami Chuene has confirmed her exit and Zenande Mfenyana is also in the list of talent to exit The Queen.

In October 2019, award-winning actress and former Metro FM news anchor Vatiswa Ndara wrote an open letter to the Honourable Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa detailing the abuse that actors go through.
Vatiswa Ndara also confirmed that she will not be playing the role of NomaRussia on iGazi – a Ferguson Films production.
