Accusing Inno Morolong of assault, Olwethu Magudumana, a club host from Durban in KwaZulu-Natal who is the niece of Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s ex-husband Dr Mkhuseli Magudumana, claimed that she was struck by a bottle at Sandton’s Maracana Club.

Olwethu shared images and videos of her head, face and body covered in blood and alleged that she was assaulted by Inno.

“I did not fight with her, she attacks me. I was at my table with my friends and I saw Innocentia shouting at the people she was with, the fight was about a bill she did not want to pay. I went closer because I wanted to see and properly hear what was happening and she jumped at me with a bottle, accusing me of filming her,” said Magudumana following the assault.

Few days later, police spokesperson, Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that an assault with grievous to bodily harm had been opened.

According to Sunday World, on Wednesday, 26 July Olwethu withdraw the charges and the two have reconciled.

“Olwethu dropped the charges against me on Wednesday at Alexandra Magistrate’s Court,” said Morolong.

Inno said that the accusations had a detrimental effect on her career because she was unable to secure gigs.

“The charges had a terrible impact on my career because I could not get jobs, basically my life was on hold because my reputation was damaged, so I couldn’t work.

“I am starting afresh, taking baby steps and yes; I am working on myself. I am making peace with the people that I had verbal fights with, mostly on social media, because I am determined to become a new person.”

Olwethu confirmed that she dropped the charges:

“I feel relieved that the situation is sorted. Miss Inno Morolong apologised and showed remorse, so I decided to forgive her,” said Magudumana.

This is nothing new for Inno; just last year she was accused for brutally assaulting a friend in a bloody fight.
